We find it unattractive to learn that the United States is unable to offer medications before Britain?

Here's an article: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/5833180/Britain-will-be-one-of-first-countries-to-get-swine-flu-vaccine-says-Liam-Donaldson.html

It seems that more people are interested in dead pop stars instead of future dead relatives.

Sanofi-Aventis, the pharmaceuticals group located in France, has pledged to donate 100m doses of its swine flu vaccine to developing countries because things are starting to get out of control.

Chris Viehbacher, chief executive, said on Wednesday that he would donate 10 per cent of his company’s pandemic flu vaccine output to developing countries as soon as production starts, as well as offer significant discounts on further orders.

His offer follows promise made a week ago by Glaxo Smith-Kline, the UK group, to donate 50m doses of its flu pandemic vaccine to the World Health Organization, after it called for producers to contribute towards a surplus of vaccines for individuals that are impoverished.

Daniel Vasella, chief executive of Novartis, of Switzerland, the other large flu vaccine maker, has stated he will give away "no freebies", although he was willing to offer lower pricing to poorer countries.

There are considerable uncertainties over the ability of manufacturers to produce enough of the quantities of flu vaccines that will be needed over the hurdles of approval processes, red tape, and the need for other vaccines.

Mr Viehbacher said: “This is one of those areas where everyone has to come together and support calls for common action.”

Sanofi-Aventis produces about 225m doses of seasonal flu vaccine. Mr Viehbacher estimated that the company could increase output to at least 800m doses of a vaccine for the latest swine flu strain.

There are tons of posts and articles about the H1N1 virus.  One that I've found interesting and very complete is here: http://www.webmd.com/cold-and-flu/flu-guide/20061101/swine-flu-faq  Below are some bits and pieces of the article:

Here is an interesting article you might want to read before I continue:  Swine Flu Victim

Throughout history there have been great plagues that decimate the population.  Black Plague,

Is it Time?

The following are epidemics which spread across several continents.

Looking at this chart things seem to make sense,...   I'll do my best to share what I hear.  And keep those tips coming in.

This is Breaking News?

CBS News Reports:

Israeli TV newscasters Tuesday night interpreted a photo taken Monday in the Oval Office of President Obama talking on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as an "insult" to Israel.

The incident could be seen as akin to an incident about a year ago, when the Iraqi reporter threw a shoe at President Bush in Baghdad.

It is considered an insult in the Arab world to show the sole of your shoe to someone. It is not a Jewish custom necessarily, but Israel feels enough a part of the Middle East after 60 years to be insulted too.

I don't think it matters either way because he was in the fucking WHITE HOUSE when this picture was taken not face to face with a foreign leader.  I know I'm on conference calls all day in my boxers and wife beater.

I'm happy not to be president, but if I was I'm not sure how I would respond.

I really liked the video on today's page.  I'm going to leave it up for awhile.  I'm thinking that the next viral, because I noticed it had almost 3 million hits on www.youtube.com

Hate to do the piggy back tactic, but it's proven effective in the past.  Here it is again if you landed on this page and we already have taken it down:

Why Swine Tube? 06/03/2009

When you're busy at work, and you have the type of job we have. (Sitting in a cubicle or a desk while your computer sucks the life out of you)  Sometimes your friends or co-workers will email you stupid pictures or viral videos.  Many times they're sending you content that you've already viewed or they over do it cluttering up your in-box.

After so many of these we figured why not just limit it to one per day.  That way everyone is more productive and we all can get our stupid, crazy, and funny video fix.

So if you're reading this I'm sure you're getting the point of this site.  There are a lot of other video sites out there, but we will only send you one and it will never be the same video that you saw before.

To conclude, sign up, tell your friends to sign up, and we'll work to send you crazy, stupid, or funny videos once a day.

PS we named the site "swine tube.com", because of the relation to the swine flu (viral) and the tube (video)
